The first thing you notice when you wake up is your splitting headache. You stumble out of the large, soft bed you don’t remember falling asleep in, and make your way out of the room as the world spins around you. Your sense of balance is off, and everything seems larger than it should be, but you chalk this up to the migraine and keep moving steadily through a long hallway decorated with suits of armor and portraits of well-dressed men and women. Finally, you arrive at a door that’s much larger and more ornate than any you’ve passed previously, suggesting the answers you’re looking for might just be behind it.

Max didn’t enjoy going to the school proms, mostly because he had no one to enjoy it with, neither a friend or date. Everyone else had someone and had a way to enjoy themselves, he didn’t though.
